In memory of
Frank Leslie Graham
05.31.1912 - 08.31.1995

Oh soft and gentle man
I'm wishing you were here
To celebrate your birthday No. 92
So we could reminisce ~ Of this I wish ~ I do!

You combed my hair so fine
And mended my skinned knees
You made the perfect bows
And taught me how to make brownies.

You stood by me as I read my speech
Spent Saturdays with me baking
We could sit in silence just being together
Oh how I miss that ~ my heart is breaking.

My Knight in Shining Armor
You were my sole protector
Always standing up for me
The yardstick weapon breaker!

How smart and wise I knew you were
You taught me the ways of the lighthouse keeper
A man of oh so few words
Your love for me was so much deeper.

You fed the chipmunks
From your hand
To you they'd scamper
The kindest man across the land.

Oh soft and gentle man
I'm wishing you were here
To celebrate your birthday No. 92
So we could reminisce ~ Of this I wish ~ I do!
